JDT Islam Orphanage Committee ventured into field of Pharmacy education in 1996 with the commencement of Diploma in Pharmacy. Within a short time span it has become one of the most sought after pharmacy colleges in Kerala. Subsequent to the career success of pharmacists and the increased demand in the health – care industry JDT started its degree course in pharmacy in the year 2004.

The institution is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences and is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The College has a team of qualified and experienced teachers who are the backbone and guiding spirit behind the success of the institution.  Currently the institution is also conducting M.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice). The students are provided evidence based practice at Iqraa International Hospital and research Centre.

Classrooms

Our classrooms are designed to foster an engaging and interactive learning environment. Equipped with modern teaching aids such as smart boards, projectors, and audio-visual systems, they enhance the educational experience. Each classroom is spacious and well-ventilated, accommodating various teaching styles and group activities. Comfortable seating arrangements and access to Wi-Fi ensure that students can fully participate in discussions and collaborative projects.

Laboratory

The college has eight laboratories provided with all the sophisticated equipment, sufficient workplace, and excellent safety measures. With these all facilities, laboratories extend a genuine learning experience through performing the experiments. The laboratories are designed to facilitate not only the experiment in the curriculum also to carry out beyond curriculum projects and small-scale research activities. Each science department has a well-equipped laboratory with all the necessary facilities.
