The college continuously upgrade the knowledge and skills of faculty members through Faculty Development Programs in association with Saxion University (Nederlands), Indian Institute of Management (Kozhikode) & Aligarh Muslim University etc. The students get a different insight in to the subject with sharing of experience from leading professionals in the health care.

Congratulations THASNI AHAMMED 6th Semester B-Pharm JDT Islam College of Pharmacy First Price in Oral Presentation on the topic "Explainable AI in Real Time Pharmacovigilance" in National Seminar DM PHARMCON-25 which focused on the theme 'Narrowing the Gap in Knowledge between Academia and Industry Associated with Pharmacovigilance and Materiovigilance' held on 26th July 2025 organised by Department of Pharmacology, Dr. Moopen's College of Pharmacy, Wayanad
The graduation ceremony of JDT Islam College of Pharmacy in the city was held on 20 November 2024 Saturday in which 60 UG students and 15 PG students received their certificates on successful completion of their courses.
The 'My JDT Clean JDT' initiative started as part of the JDT Campus Comprehensive Cleaning Project. The poster release held at the JDT main office was by Secretary Dr. Idrees, Committee Officers Hilal Hasan, Muhammad Qasim and Veerankutty, Administrative Officer KK Hameed.
The comprehensive master plan of existing 4 lakh sq ft to 12 lakh sq ft buildings on 08 September 2024 at the campus. envisioned to be developed was announced by the Minister of Public Works and Tourism Department Mr. PA Muhammad Riyas on the campus. Inauguration of new floors constructed for the school of Nursing and College of Arts and Science From the CSR Fund of Malabar Charitable Trust at a cost of Rs.2.5 Cr was also inaugurated by the minister during the time. the master plan aims at comprehensive development of the campus including Medical College, Engineering College, Law College, Business School, paramedical college and basic educational institutions.
